Eucharist

The Eucharist: Source and Summit of Christian Life

The Sacrament of the Eucharist is at the very heart of our Catholic faith. In the celebration of the Mass, bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ, given to us as true spiritual food. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that the Eucharist is the “source and summit of the Christian life” (CCC 1324), for in receiving Christ Himself, we are united more deeply to Him and to one another as His Body, the Church.

Through the Eucharist, we are nourished and strengthened to live as disciples, carrying Christ’s love into our families, communities, and the world. It is the memorial of Christ’s sacrifice, making present the Paschal Mystery in our midst and drawing us into God’s saving work (CCC 1325–1327). To learn more about this great sacrament and opportunities for participation, please reach out to our parish office or fill out the form below—we would be honored to walk with you in faith.
