Walking with Purpose

This 18-week study will show how all Scripture reveals Jesus Christ, drawing connections between the Old Testament and the life of Jesus. As we learn about God's faithfulness in keeping His promises, we will find comfort and new life through applying these truths to our current day concerns. We will learn how Jesus deeply loves us, and how His love is the true satisfaction of our souls. Knowing Christ more intimately will touch your heart and fill you with hope!

Weekly study groups will be offered Monday nights at 6:30pm or Tuesday mornings at 9am. We take a break over the holidays. To learn more, join us 9/08/25 at 6:30pm for a kick-off happy hour in the Parish Hall!

Overcoming Spiritual Discouragement: An Ignatian Path to Hope 

(One-Day Retreat)

All of us experience ups and downs in our daily spiritual life: times when God feels close and we have spiritual energy, and times when that energy wanes, and we struggle with discouragement. In fourteen practical guidelines (“rules”), St. Ignatius of Loyola offers invaluable aid toward understanding this experience, finding freedom from discouragement, and living our daily lives with joy. In this Oct. 24 retreat at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Boulder, sponsored by the Serra Club of Boulder but open to all, Fr. Mark Yavarone, OMV will explore St. Ignatius’ teaching and apply it to our experience through concrete examples.
