Ushers

Ushers, along with the greeters, should be an example to the parish of how to love neighbor as self, as Christ has commanded us. Their service to the parish models the self sacrificial love of Christ.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  Help parishioners find a seat for Mass

  Pass around the collection baskets

  Assist the Eucharistic Ministers by pointing out those who cannot proceed through the Communion line

  Pass out bulletins at the end of Mass

  Help tidy the church for the next Mass

Time Commitment: Each week a sign up sheet is sent out to all liturgical ministers to sign up for the upcoming weekend. You are able to sign up as often as you would like. You can sign up for once a year or every week and everything in between. When signed up to serve you will need to arrive early for Mass to ensure proper preparation.
